"I find it difficult to explain my paintings. I want them to stand on their own. But, in my opinion, an image in space should mean more than just colorful decoration. A painting could perhaps become a friend – about whom you are happy – whom you like to have around – someone in whom you maybe even fall in love…
My painting arises from emotion and, through my paintings, I wish to reach the emotions of the viewer.
